Ute Place Remodel

A custom remodel completely transformed both the exterior and interior of this house, which overlooks the Roaring Fork River in Aspen, Colorado. Originally built in 1989 for owners from Tulsa, Oklahoma, the retreat was prime for an update to accommodate both grandchildren and an extensive art collection. Refreshed exterior finishes and reconfiguration of the fenestration has created a stronger connection to the dramatic surroundings, while the interior spaces were recomposed and exquisitely finished to be a polished backdrop for the owners’ eclectic artworks. Now appealingly enlivened and functional, the 6,788-square-foot home is filled with light and accommodates family and entertaining as well as quiet repose.
