West End Traditional - Menendez Architects

West End Traditional

Located at the base of Shadow Mountain, the street elevation of this new 4,181-square-foot custom home respects the Victorian forms and character prevalent in the architecture of this historic Aspen neighborhood. The traditional façade boldly includes contemporary elements that carry into the interior of the house giving way to a cohesive, polished presentation throughout. Sited to take advantage of the views and privacy afforded by the secluded setting, the residence is accompanied by a detached duplex that satisfies employee housing mitigation requirements. Designed to be subordinate in scale and size to the main house, the duplex is clad in the same exterior materials and is reminiscent of a carriage house serving a main residence.
